Week of Jan. 4-8, 2016

Happy New Year & Welcome Back!
We will be starting DIBELS testing this week.  Encourage your child to read daily at home.  This will help your child to get back into the routine and develop fluent reading.

Monday:

·       Spelling:  write words 2x each on paper provided

·       Phonics:  ws (making plural nouns and spelling them correctly)

·       Reading:  study new vocab. words

Tuesday

•        Reading:  Practice decodable reader till fluent; Read Brementown story

·       Spelling:  Sentences ws

·       Math:  None yet;  we are working on 2-digit addition with regrouping

Wednesday

• Grammar:  plural noun ws

·      Math:  finish last pg. of packet;  practice math facts to 20

 

Thursday

Reading:  Read Brementown Musicians; Study all vocabulary

Spelling:  Study list 9 words
